An Unpayable Debt


I have a debt
Which can never be paid
Something so wonderful
Words can only begin to describe

Someone cared enough
To show me the truth
There is only one love
Pure and unconditional

I am thankful for that selfless act
Forever will I be thankful

I was shown a faith
So great
Part of me couldn’t
Understand

I have an understanding
Of a peace which
I thought only
She had inside of her

She opened her heart to me
Shared with me her beliefs
Her heart is big enough
To love and be a cherished friend

I am thankful
For someone so kind
Willing to share with me
I have a debt
